Typically, every home we build is designed specifically for the building lot on which it will be constructed. Considerable time, thought and money is expended before architectural drawings are submitted for permitting.
Assuming you do not already have architectural drawings for your future custom build home, our first steps are geared toward moving your project in that direction. Soon after an initial consultation where we determine your goals and target budget, we will schedule a meeting with our in-house architect to further define the look you are seeking and your square footage requirements.
I bought a newly constructed townhouse as an investment property from this builder. My wife fell in love with the house and we almost moved in ourselves. Fantastic design with great finishes and location. Builder has been very pleasant to work with during the buying process and has been very attentive in addressing minor warranty issues. Once we receive preliminary designs from our architect, all parties should meet to discuss materials and options you may want incorporated in your custom build project. Shortly thereafter, we will sit down to discuss the budget we calculate will be necessary to custom build your new home. While you might find a builder who will charge less, few can match the attention to detail we design and build into each and every home.
While we are likely to offer suggestions during the design phase, we know in the end our job is to build your house, not ours. If a suggestion is made from our side of the table, never hesitate to question the idea, or object if you have a strong contrary opinion. We want to custom build your home, and recognize your satisfaction is the primary goal.
